About Joe: Joe is a dynamic recruitment professional with over 10 years' experience in recruiting niche talent across a variety of sectors and was always our top biller.
Having travelled the world tying up agreements with various clients of ours, he has since established our academy and training manuals, and now spends his time looking after our consultants and managers, as well as ensuring that the internal systems and marketing efforts are fully optimised.
Joe is a dedicated father to Ava & Jack and an accomplished sportsman, having signed for Aston Villa as a schoolboy (though golf is his main distraction these days).
Joe spends much of his time globetrotting and spending time with our clients in all corners of the world, to enhance these relationships and ensure we are always exceeding expectations.
Software Sales Director
Ed runs the EMEA enterprise sales recruitment team at Abika, leading a team of delivery consultants who support some of the best known software brands in the world.
His role is focused on new client acquisition and account development as well as the ongoing training of our delivery consultants and Ed’s performance in what has been a tough market in Europe until 2013, has been exemplary.
Ed is the captain of the Old Reigatians rugby club in Surrey as well as the key batsman in a local cricket club.
Professional Services Director
Harry is our head of IT recruitment, running a team that recruit across the IT spectrum, literally across the world.
He oversees delivery to key accounts, onboards new clients and brings new accounts up to key account status by delivering to the highest standards.
Having joined Abika as a raw stockbroker back in 2010, he has become a key asset to the organisation through exceptional performance and excellent levels of client retention and growth.
Harry has a wide set of interests including (but in no way limited to): Chelsea FC, classic cars, property development, tennis, stocks & shares and his dog, Betty.
About me: James’ background in recruitment is almost entirely sales and account development focused and when Abika Consulting was formed in 2009 with Joe Armiger, he won and developed the early clients which set the basis for the company today.
As director, James spends his time working on projects to increase efficiency, revenue and profitability at the company, as well as making the best of the most important assets – the consultants and managers at Abika.
James’ vision for the business is shared by the team, and that is to “be the very best that we can be individually and as a team”.
He is passionate about food, golf and his family.
