The Role

The Account Manager is to own all the renewals and upsell opportunities across a book of business, building relationships internally and externally to understand client’s needs. This individual is responsible for a set quote on renewals and license expansion as well as the customer success of the assigned portfolio.

In addition, you will be responsible for creating long-term, trusting relationships and ensuring we have a thrilled customer base. We truly believe that customers will stay and expand if they are successful and see the value and ROI from the product and investment.

The Responsibilities

  • Carry your own quota that is centred around renewing existing customers and expansion into existing customer base
  • Define and execute regularly updated Account Plans
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Track the customer journey, ensure adoption of the software and help our customers reach their desired outcomes
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly and annual renewal and expansion pipe)

Your Skills

  • An obsession with the customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with large enterprise senior lines-of-business and IT executives, as well as operational managers
  • In-depth experience in all aspects of a SaaS renewal processes
  • Experience in either WFM, CRM or ERP preferred
  • Must be able to travel 30-40% -/+ of the time.
  • Establishes trust and empathy as an advisor to the client; Works collaboratively in pursuit of discovery to define a desired business outcome while also uncovering unknown business outcomes the client has not previously considered.
